As a Residential Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in enabling individuals with disabilities and disadvantages to lead fulfilling lives by providing person-centered support, community access, and personal care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaboration and Planning: Work closely with the Team Leader to develop and implement Person-Centred Plans (PCPs), promoting independent living skills through formal and informal teaching methods.
  • Client Support: Assist clients with daily living activities, including medication management, personal hygiene, food preparation, dressing, and mealtime support, while maintaining professional integrity and confidentiality.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records related to medical, behavioral, and financial documentation, adhering to guidelines, and ensuring the collection and storage of receipts when handling resident funds.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete necessary administrative tasks such as payroll, compliance reports, and client procedural paperwork in a timely and accurate manner, strictly following organizational policies, procedures, and WHS standards.
