About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our people team on a full-time, permanent basis. As a People Partner (Operations), you will play a key role in driving HR initiatives that support business growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide HR advisory support and coaching to business leaders on people matters, including workforce planning, performance management, talent development, employee relations, and change management
  • Analyze and monitor workforce trends to identify leading indicators for operational success and develop proactive strategies in response
  • Collaborate with operational leaders to drive day-to-day activities and culture initiatives that align with organizational goals
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure delivery of quality services
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of service delivery as part of a broader professional HR team
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in human resources or related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in a human resources role within mining or other heavy industries
  • Proven ability to develop constructive working relationships with employees and managers
  • Strong influencing skills
  • A good understanding of human resources and employee relations legislation and practices
  • Sound judgement and objective problem-solving skills
  • Experience using HR systems such as Workday
  • Valid C class driver's licence
