Chief People Strategist

Iluka Resources is seeking a Human Resources professional to join its People team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the execution of business strategies and operational objectives at various WA-based operations. They will partner with the business to provide HR advisory support and coaching on people matters including workforce planning, performance management, talent development, employee relations, and change management.

• Provide HR advisory support to operational leaders to progress day-to-day activities and culture initiatives.
• Analyse and monitor workforce trends to identify leading trends for the operational workgroup and support the delivery of proactive strategies in response.
• Develop and maintain professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of quality services.

• You hold a tertiary qualification in human resources or a related discipline.
• You have demonstrated experience in a human resources role within mining or other related heavy industries.
• You possess strong influencing skills and a good understanding of human resources and employee relations legislation and practices.
• You have sound judgement and objective problem-solving skills.
