Natural Perils Risk Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced risk manager to lead our natural perils risk management team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to mitigate and manage natural disaster risks.

About the Role
  • Develop and implement comprehensive risk management plans to minimize the impact of natural disasters on our business.
  • Lead a team of experts in analyzing and assessing natural peril risks to identify potential threats and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement mitigation strategies, including data analytics, modeling, and simulation.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to stakeholders on natural peril risks and their impact on our business.
  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets to inform decision-making and drive business outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in risk management, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective risk management strategies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to communicate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
