About The Role
  • Undertake project-specific tasks as appropriate and directed to you by the superintendent.
  • Lead a team of leading hands and electricians, setting a high standard of performance.
  • Embody safety culture on site, exemplifying best practices for all to follow.
  • Report task status, including forecast outcomes related to time, cost, scope, and quality when required.
  • Maintain records of work-in-progress and communications in line with project management methodology.
  • Participate in and inform project planning and auditing activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Oversight of apprentices, promoting consistent learning and improvement of their work standards.

  • You will enjoy problem-solving and contributing to successful project outcomes.
  • Previous experience in supervisory roles has provided you with the necessary skills to excel in this position.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Teams & Excel, is highly valued.
  • Experience in using and interpreting project scheduling software (MS Project or Primavera) is also advantageous.
  • Your background in job estimating and quoting will enable you to effectively manage project costs.
  • Quality management experience and budget management skills are equally important.
  • Trade certification/AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech and NSW Electrical Licence are mandatory requirements.
  • A High-risk work Licence EWP and Working at Heights (completed within the last 18 months) certification are also essential.
  • CPR/LVR and Unrestricted C Class Driver's Licence are current requirements.
  • A White/Blue Construction Card is necessary for this role.
  • Hazardous Areas experience is preferred but not essential.
