We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to oversee site activities, focusing on safety, environmental stewardship, quality control, and operational performance.

Your day will involve:

  • Safety First: Champion and enforce safety protocols to achieve outstanding performance outcomes.
  • Operational Excellence: Manage daily operations effectively, ensuring production priorities align with quality standards and budgets.
  • People Leadership: Lead and inspire staff and contractors through hands-on management and mentorship.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the site adheres to all licensing and regulatory requirements.
  • Strategic Contribution: Play a key role in strategic planning and execution of both short-term and long-term capital projects.

What we are looking for?

  • Proven Leadership: Extensive experience in quarrying operations or mining with a strong track record of leadership.
  • SSE Notice: Relevant Site Senior Executive notice.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Ability to proactively identify, manage, and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Budget Management: Experience in developing and managing budgets with a focus on controlling expenditure.
  • LEAN Manufacturing Experience: Familiarity with LEAN principles is highly desirable.
  • Qualifications: Relevant quarry management qualifications and/or tertiary education.

This role is ideal for a proactive leader with innovative thinking and the ability to mentor and motivate a dedicated team.
