Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to manage daily operations at our site, ensuring production priorities align with quality standards, budgets, and forecasts.

Your day will involve championing safety protocols to achieve outstanding performance outcomes, managing operational efficiency, leading and inspiring staff and contractors through hands-on management and mentorship, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safety Management: Champion and enforce safety protocols to achieve outstanding performance outcomes.
  • Operational Excellence: Manage daily operations effectively, ensuring production priorities align with quality standards, budgets, and forecasts.
  • People Leadership: Lead and inspire staff and contractors through hands-on management and mentorship.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the site adheres to all licensing, consent, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:

We are looking for someone with extensive experience in Quarrying Operations or Mining, strong leadership skills, ability to proactively identify, manage, and resolve issues, experience in developing and managing budgets, and familiarity with LEAN principles.

  • Proven Leadership Experience: Extensive experience in Quarrying Operations or Mining with a strong track record of leadership.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Ability to proactively identify, manage, and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Budget Management: Experience in developing and managing budgets, with a focus on controlling expenditure and costs.
  • LEAN Manufacturing Experience: Familiarity with LEAN principles is highly desirable.
