Collection Manager Role

This position plays a pivotal role in supporting organisational goals by effectively managing the collection function. Key responsibilities include fostering professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders, mitigating exposure to risk, and delivering on agreed key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting framework.

Predominantly, collect payment of rentals and other applicable invoices for fleet lease/management products in accordance with approved trading terms.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide expert guidance, coaching and mentoring to team members to enhance engagement and capability.
  2. Monitor client accounts and initiate proceedings to recover monies owing to the organisation.
  3. Record, analyse and report on activities, processes, trends, and results relating to the department.
  4. Manage all accounts in administration / liquidation to minimise organisational risk.
Required Skills And Qualifications
  1. Tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Commerce or similar field.
  2. Experience in managing and coaching high performing teams.
  3. Experience in an accounting function, preferably Accounts Receivable and/or Credit Control.
  4. Excellent training and coaching skills, ability to provide constructive feedback and handle difficult conversations productively.
