About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Global Credit Risk team in Sydney. As a Credit Risk Associate, you will play a critical role in managing our Financial Institution clients, including banks, non-bank financial institutions, and funds, while supporting our financial markets and asset management businesses.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Work closely with senior approvers, management, and business stakeholders to manage a portfolio of counterparties and review requests and new transactions.
  • Collaborate with other associates, analysts, and business stakeholders to present findings to management for approval, including opportunities with our Head of Credit and Head of Risk Management.

**Requirements**

  • Degree qualification in a related discipline, such as Business or Finance.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • An understanding of Risk and the ability to interpret financial statements.
  • Previous experience in a comparable role is desirable.
