Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Specialist to join our team at BeathChapman Pte Ltd. As a key member of our Commercial Banking team, you will be responsible for performing credit analysis and risk assessments on large value lending transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough credit analysis and risk assessments on syndicated and bilateral loans to ensure alignment with our company's risk policy and procedures.
  2. Develop and present credit recommendations to our Credit Committee for approval, providing insightful feedback and analysis.
  3. Monitor and manage portfolio restructuring and variation, ensuring timely and effective execution.
  4. Collaborate with our Corporate Banking and Risk Management team to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements, providing expert advice to our team.
  6. Liaise with our Head Office overseas to ensure compliance with our company's risk policy and procedures.
  7. Develop and refine our company's Credit Policy and Procedures to ensure alignment with industry best practices.
  8. Coordinate and assist with local regulatory reviews, audits, and Head Office reviews.
  9. Prepare meeting and presentation materials for our Credit Committee.

Requirements:

  1. 3-5 years' experience in credit risk management in Commercial or Corporate Banking, with a strong understanding of credit approval processes.
  2. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to critically evaluate company financials.
  3. Familiarity with prudential standards and regulatory environments, with the ability to adapt to changing requirements.
  4. Tertiary degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Business, or related field.
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  6. Ability to read, write, and speak Chinese Mandarin.
