The Role:

As Practice Leader – Ecology, you will lead our ecology team, delivering meaningful environmental outcomes for clients while guiding the team's strategic and commercial growth. This is a hands-on role where you will:

  • Lead, mentor and inspire a team of ecological professionals\
  • Develop and implement business development and growth strategies\
  • Drive delivery of significant projects and multidisciplinary programs\
  • Provide high-level ecological expertise, reporting, and advisory support\
  • Engage with clients, regulators and community stakeholders to communicate science and deliver value\
  • Collaborate across teams to capitalise on inter-disciplinary opportunities\

Your Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • \
  • A degree in ecology, environmental science or a related discipline\
  • A minimum of 7 years' relevant experience in ecological consulting, project delivery and team leadership\
  • Proven experience in managing technical projects and professional services teams\
  • Strong commercial acumen, with a track record in business development and client engagement\
  • Ability to navigate complexity, solve problems and deliver innovative, commercially viable solutions\
