The Job Description
  • Job Title: Ecology Practice Lead
  • Location: NSW – Sydney or Newcastle (remote options across NSW possible)
  • Type: Full-time role with leadership responsibilities

We are seeking an exceptional individual with a degree in ecology, environmental science, or a related discipline, and a minimum of 7 years' relevant experience in ecological consulting, project delivery, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial acumen, with a track record in business development and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of ecological professionals
  2. Develop and implement business development and growth strategies
  3. Drive delivery of significant projects and multidisciplinary programs
  4. Provide high-level ecological expertise, reporting, and advisory support
  5. Engage with clients, regulators, and community stakeholders to communicate science and deliver value
