The role of the Learning Designer is to support our purpose by designing and developing learning tools and programs that build capability and drive business outcomes. You'll be part of a dynamic team that's responsible for planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of key people & culture activities, including recruitment, reward and retention, training and development strategies & initiatives, talent and succession planning, and organisational development.
You will play a key role in supporting Woolworths Group to achieve greater efficiencies and solve organisational problems. Your expertise will help us deliver effective and efficient services across the various stages of the employee lifecycle.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Instructional Designer to join our team. As a Learning Designer, you'll be responsible for:
- Partnering with business teams to identify learning needs and develop proposals for learning solutions;
- Designing and developing learning materials, including e-learning storyboarding, video scripting, training facilitator guides, and on-job tools;
- Collaborating with a passionate team of learning professionals to ensure consistent and aligned learning experiences;
- Developing retail, customer service, leadership, and operational content and courseware using various technology platforms;
- Identifying delivery requirements appropriate to audience needs and environment.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have:
- 3+ years' experience in Instructional Design;
- A strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design models;
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
- A natural curiosity and enthusiasm for continuous learning and improvement.

Key Responsibilities
As a Learning Designer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Partnership with business teams and working as a member of the My Growing Potential Tribe to identify learning needs, and develop proposals for learning;
- Development of learning materials, including but not limited to learning specifications, scoping, e-learning storyboarding, video scripting, training facilitator guides, and on-job tools;
- Collaboration with a passionate team of learning professionals to ensure consistent and aligned learning experiences to our store teams;
- Development of retail, customer service, leadership and operational content and courseware using various technology;
- Identification of delivery requirements appropriate to audience needs and environment, including budget estimates.
