Care Coordinator

Our organization is seeking a Casual Support Worker to provide support and care to vulnerable children and young people in out-of-home care across Gippsland. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of these individuals.
Casual roles are available, allowing you to choose your hours and office location. Our organization has multiple locations throughout Gippsland, including Sale, Morwell, and Bairnsdale.
In this role, you will work directly with children and young people to assist with daily living tasks and help them develop strategies for positive behaviors. You will also have the opportunity to build relationships with families and other stakeholders in the community.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Diploma of Community Services or other relevant qualification, as well as genuine interest in supporting children, young people, and families in need. You should also have knowledge of the out-of-home care system and resources available in Gippsland.
Key skills required for this role include conflict resolution skills, ability to build rapport with young people, and current Working with Children Check and Driver's Licence valid in Victoria.
