- Assist in the implementation of programs designed for growth and development of young people
- Complete summary notes
- Help create a safe and homely environment for them to live in and enjoy

We support adolescents who cannot live with their families and have child protection orders meaning they need to live in out-of-home care.
Your Role and Daily Tasks- Supporting youth aged 12 to 17 in care placements
- Choose your hours and days of work
- Choose your location of work – Wonthaggi, Sale or both
- Choose from a range of shifts including weekend and out-of-hours work
- Evening, night and weekend penalty rates
- Paid induction
- Schads award pay levels: Level 3.1 when qualified or Level 2.1 if unqualified
- Annual wage increases (in line with Schads award CPI increases)
- Team of dedicated professionals including Therapeutic Specialists, Case Coordinators and an Education Specialist
- Supervision support and access to a free Employee Assistance Program
- Paid Therapeutic Crisis Intervention Training and paid Needs-Based Framework Training
The following are mandatory for this role. The employee is required to be enrolled in/undertaking or hold either:
- Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention; or
- A recognised relevant qualification
In addition, all residential care workers must complete the three mandatory units of competency:
- CHCMHS007 – Work effectively in trauma informed care
- CHCPRT009 – Provide primary residential care
- CHCCCS009 – Facilitate responsible behaviour
Allambi Care can facilitate the applicant obtaining the mandatory units of competency within the first 3 months of employment if they have not been obtained prior to applying through our partnered RTO BIAE (RTO no 45241).
