Contract Occupational Therapist Opportunity in NSW

This successful rehabilitation provider is seeking an Occupational Therapist contractor to take on assessment work (ADL) with workplace rehabilitation cases (NSW Workers Compensation only). You will have support from an experienced manager and the flexibility and autonomy to manage your workload and time. This employer guarantees hours and files to their contract staff, ensuring no clawback of files.
This role is open to passionate Occupational Therapists who want to help clients return to health and work. You will be willing to travel into the local community to carry out assessments and deliver services to your clients.
You will be responsible for:
- Activities of daily living assessments
- Liaison with key stakeholders
- Completion of high-level written reporting
Requirements:
- Approved tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
- Current registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency)
- Previous occupational rehabilitation experience
- The ability to work effectively on an independent basis
- Positive and client-centred professional with great communication skills
- ABN/ACN and Professional Indemnity insurance (or willingness to gain)
- Current driver's license and own reliable car
The role will provide you with:
- Generous contracting rates commensurate with experience ($120-$130 per hour)
