Job Title

A Portfolio Credit Risk Analyst role at Judo Bank involves ensuring the credit risk engine accurately calculates expected credit losses and application of credit methodology.

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Melbourne or Sydney.

  • Assist with the development and implementation of the credit risk engine.
  • Maintain and enhance the credit provision calculations.
  • Automate current operating processes within Snowflake.
  • Analyse detailed data on provision movements and deliver insights to stakeholders; assess provision adequacy to ensure appropriate provisioning for projected credit deterioration.
  • Evaluate the current provision methodology to ensure it remains fit for purpose.
  • Provide regular internal reporting to Management and the Board.
  • Support external credit risk reporting deliverables to stakeholders including regulatory reporting forms.

Qualifications
  • Experience working with credit provision models.
  • Understanding of AASB 9 accounting standard.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Power BI).
  • Experience using Snowflake and Confluence.
  • Ability to analyse data and present information clearly; strong stakeholder communication.
  • Solid knowledge of credit risk management and regulatory frameworks.
