About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our team at Agricultural Appointments. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales strategies, supporting our dealer network, and fostering growth across various business areas.

Your Responsibilities
  • Build Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers and customers through regular visits and communication.
  • Provide Support: Offer technical sales support to dealers, ensuring their pipelines are up-to-date and their needs are met.
  • Network: Enhance our business brand by building industry relationships and identifying new opportunities.
  • Hit Sales Targets: Meet or exceed sales goals for your territory, driving revenue growth and profitability.
  • Plan & Execute: Create and implement sales plans for new and existing customers, leveraging your knowledge of the market and industry trends.
  • Know the Market: Stay up-to-date on market conditions, providing forecasts and insights to inform business decisions.
  • Achieve Goals: Meet revenue and profit targets, contributing to the success of our business.
  • Use Tech: Utilize Salesforce, Excel, and other company programs effectively to manage your sales activities and performance.
  • Spot Opportunities: Identify and capitalize on business opportunities in new and expanding areas of the business.
About You

We are looking for an individual with experience in agronomy or agriculture, who understands the complexities of the agricultural sector. As a skilled problem solver and team player, you will be committed to achieving team objectives and driving business success.

  • Motivated & Persistent: You thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple priorities and challenges.
  • Great Communicator: Excellent at managing accounts and developing business relationships, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Travel-Ready: Willing to travel up to 50%, including overnight stays, to meet with customers and dealers.
  • Value Seller: Skilled in value-added selling, making sound decisions for customer satisfaction and driving business growth.
  • Education: A formal education in agriculture is a plus, but not essential.
