Financial Strategist

The organisation seeks a highly skilled and experienced Financial Strategist to lead the development and implementation of financially sustainable services for clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial insights and recommendations to support business performance, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and compliance.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the organisation's goals and objectives.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to ensure accuracy and insight for decision-making.
- Prepare management reports and variance analysis to support business performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and compliance.
- Oversee audits, inventory management, funding submissions, and grant acquittals in line with organisational and regulatory requirements.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will have strong business partnering, change management, and project management skills, as well as advanced Excel proficiency and experience with ERP/database systems (Dynamics 365 advantageous). Additionally, you should possess excellent communication skills, be able to convey financial insights to non-financial stakeholders, and hold a current full Victorian Driver's Licence.
