Apprentice Sports Turf Management Specialist

This apprenticeship in Horticulture offers a unique opportunity to combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience in sports turf management.

You will work alongside experienced professionals to develop and maintain public open spaces, sports grounds, parks, gardens, and streetscapes.

Key responsibilities include monitoring, maintaining, and preparing surfaces for play. You will also have the chance to work on high-profile projects at Casey Fields, an 88-hectare site developed as the premier outdoor sports facility in Melbourne's south-east.

During your 4-year apprenticeship, you can expect:

  • A Nationally Recognised Qualification in Certificate III in Sports Turf Management
  • Full-time fixed term employment with competitive wages
  • 4 weeks annual leave per year
  • Safety equipment, tools, and uniforms provided

To be eligible for this position, you must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
