Store Leadership Role

The Assistant Store Manager - Back Of House plays a crucial part in driving store success by supporting the Senior Store Manager in all operational needs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Business Growth
    • Fosters collaboration with leadership to achieve sales, membership, expenditure, and profit targets.
    • Takes ownership of store performance by monitoring resource allocation and implements processes to drive profitability.
    • Leverages available store and market data to inform commercial decisions based on sound analysis and financial judgment.
    • Identifies opportunities to build relationships and partner with other entities to enhance exposure and positively impact net sales and brand equity.
  • Operations Management
    • Collaborates with Assistant Store Manager - Operations to maintain a compliant back-of-house area that supports Omnichannel Services.
    • Ensures efficient back-of-house operations by facilitating and maintaining the space.
    • Create and maintains a stock room layout reflecting best practice and inventory performance.
    • Liaises with Merchandising team to communicate inventory needs and provides consistent feedback.
    • Supports receiving process for deliveries and allocates resources for efficient receipt.
    • Ensures adequate supplies for an effective stockroom environment.
  • Inventory Management
    • Maintains inventory integrity through regular cycle counts and accurately reports variances.
    • Accurately closes out end-PLC product at REDs as communicated by Retail Merchandising.
    • Transfers accurately and efficiently to other Concept Stores within Australia.
  • Team Leadership
    • DIRECTS A CULTURE OF INCLUSION AND POSITIVITY THROUGH OPEN FEEDBACK AND LIVING THE COMPANY VALUES.
    • Leads the Back Of House team HR planning, recruitment, and onboarding.
