Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Back of House Team Member to join our team. As a Back of House Team Member, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and organisation in the back of house.

This position requires excellent time management skills, a strong commitment to upholding food safety procedures, and a passion for the hospitality industry. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively as part of a team and demonstrate high expectations of cleanliness and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times.
  • Ensure excellent hand and personal hygiene practices are followed.
  • Contribute to the financial management of the back of house by minimising waste and reducing environmental impact.
  • Assist in the preparation of high-quality dishes in a timely manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Food Safety Certificate is essential.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills are required.
  • A sound level of food knowledge and a strong commitment to upholding food safety procedures are necessary.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Food Safety Supervisor certificate is desirable.
  • Certificate II in Kitchen Operations is also desirable.
