Our Business Development Representative is the frontline engine responsible for generating pipeline, identifying and qualifying potential leads for our Sales Team within the corporate and enterprise market.
This strategic role focuses on creating high-value meetings that lead to sales opportunities within defined customer segments.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Establish deep insights into customer pain points and build relationships with key decision-makers.
- Generate and support high-value opportunities for Sales in defined segments.
- Conduct outbound market research and drive event attendance and engagement.
- Engage key decision-makers using phone calls, LinkedIn, and tailored email outreach.
- Align outreach to industry events, triggers, and market trends to increase relevance and cut-through.
- Drive net-new pipeline creation by focusing on accounts within strategic segments.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to refine messaging and target personas based on campaign performance.
- Maintain accurate records of all engagement, progress, and insights within our CRM system.
- Provide regular updates on pipeline progression, forecast accuracy, and activity volumes.
Requirements
- A tertiary qualification in business or technology.
- Proven experience and success in a target-driven sales environment.
- Previous experience in outbound phone-based roles.
- Sales marketing expertise in niche industries.
- Strong knowledge of the ICT sector.
