About the Role

As a Clinical Specialist in Pharmaceutical Care, you will provide comprehensive pharmaceutical services in clinical areas and act as a resource pharmacist for specific specialty areas. Your key responsibilities will include working within Alcohol and Drug policies to provide services to Pharmacotherapy and Inpatient Withdrawal Units, dispensing and dosing for Pharmacotherapy patients, and maintaining drug supply systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide pharmaceutical care in clinical settings
  • Work with the Alcohol and Drug Services team to provide opioid pharmacotherapy and detoxification services
  • Dispense and dose medications for Pharmacotherapy patients
  • Maintain drug supply systems
About the Team

You will be part of the Tasmanian State Service, the largest employer in Tasmania, with over 28,000 employees providing services to the community at all levels.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $106,966 to $118,114 per annum, plus superannuation and salary packaging benefits. This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months, and we are seeking a casual shift-worker who can commit to this timeframe.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a tertiary qualification in pharmacy and registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia. Accredited pharmacotherapy qualifications are desirable.
