Clinical Specialist Nurse

Our team at the Department of Health seeks an exceptional Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our ranks. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide specialist nursing expertise to individuals and their families/carers, helping them adjust to living with diabetes and/or other endocrinology conditions. Your role will involve education and health promotion activities, as well as acting as a clinical resource for internal and external stakeholders, including community organizations and health professionals. We offer a permanent full-time position with a competitive salary range of $103,466 to $109,165 per annum, plus 11.5% superannuation contribution. Our benefits package includes salary packaging, a range of benefits, and a relocation allowance for eligible candidates. To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the essential criteria of registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse and a Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist nursing expertise to individuals and their families/carers, helping them adjust to living with diabetes and/or other endocrinology conditions.

- Deliver education and health promotion activities to support individuals and their families/carers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
Requirements:
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
- Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education.
