Leadership Opportunity for OSHC Program Manager

We are seeking a skilled and passionate leader to co-lead the Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) program at a specialist school. This role is part of the Victorian Government's High Intensity OSHC initiative, which aims to provide high-quality care and support to students with complex disabilities.

The successful candidate will work closely with the school community to deliver exceptional outcomes for children, families, and staff. They will be responsible for planning and preparing child-focused programs, training and guiding staff, and contributing to compliance initiatives.

About the Role

This full-time position is available at a specialist school in Concord. The successful candidate will work 38 hours per week during term time, combining administrative hours and in-service hours.

  • Co-lead the OSHC program and develop best practices to ensure high-quality care for all children
  • Plan and prepare child-centered programs for school-aged children in a specialist school setting
  • Contribute to compliance initiatives, such as the Quality Improvement Plan
  • Maintain a safe environment for all children, families, and staff
  • Provide opportunities for children to explore, learn, and play in a supportive and inclusive environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in leadership and management positions in the early childhood or disability support sectors
  • A strong understanding of child development and behavior management principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
