Leading Childcare Centre Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Early Childhood Education professional to oversee the operation of our childcare centre.

As a leader, you will be responsible for managing and supporting a team of Childcare Educators and Teachers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and education to children aged 6 months to 5 years old. The operating hours are from 6:30am to 6:30pm.

About the Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the daily operation of the childcare centre, including staffing, budget management, and communication with parents and stakeholders.
  • Developing and implementing age-appropriate activities and lesson plans that support the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child.
  • Maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and ensuring the safety and well-being of all children at all times.
  • Fostering a positive and inclusive culture that promotes teamwork and respect for diversity.
Your Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An ACECQA-approved Diploma (or higher) in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Minimum three years of experience working in a licensed childcare centre or similar setting, including experience in a leadership role.
  • A current Working with Children Check.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
