Leading a team of educators requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to create a safe and engaging environment for children to learn and grow.

We are currently seeking an experienced Room Leader to join our team at our Preston centre. The permanent role is from Monday to Friday on a rotating roster between the hours of 6:30am and 6:30pm.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • a relevant qualification in Children's services
  • proven experience in a long day care or other early childhood setting
  • sound practical working knowledge and implementation of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework
  • current First Aid and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates
  • current Working with Children's Check

In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of educators and creating a safe and engaging environment for children to learn and grow. You will work closely with the Centre Manager to achieve high quality outcomes for children and families.
