We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Content Producer and Indigenous Storyteller to join our team at SBS Australia.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Producer/Editor to produce content that showcases the unique perspectives and experiences of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Reporting to the Executive Producer – Entertainment and Events, NITV, you will be responsible for producing high-quality content that meets the needs of our audience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement content strategies that promote Indigenous voices and stories
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop engaging content
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery
  • Identify opportunities for growth and innovation in content production
  • Mentor and support junior team members in their professional development
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in content production, preferably in regional or remote areas
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere and ability to convey ideas clearly
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
