Content Producer and Indigenous Storyteller

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Content Producer and Indigenous Storyteller to join our team at SBS Australia.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Producer/Editor to produce content that showcases the unique perspectives and experiences of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Reporting to the Executive Producer – Entertainment and Events, NITV, you will be responsible for producing high-quality content that meets the needs of our audience.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement content strategies that promote Indigenous voices and stories
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop engaging content
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery
- Identify opportunities for growth and innovation in content production
- Mentor and support junior team members in their professional development
- 5+ years' experience in content production, preferably in regional or remote areas
- Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere and ability to convey ideas clearly
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
As a Content Producer and Indigenous Storyteller at SBS Australia, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse and engaging projects that showcase Indigenous cultures and perspectives. You will also receive a competitive salary of $95,000 - $110,000 per annum, plus benefits such as:
