Help us push boundaries and deliver excellence.In this Perth-based role, be part of a team that provides services to the St Ives underground mining operations, in compliance with Gold Fields' environmental and safety standards.
The successful applicant will be engaged in the technical aspects of design and scheduling for the medium to long-term mine planning of multiple underground operations.As an employee at Gold Fields, we expect all levels of employees to always act in a manner that seeks to align and enhance the values, safety culture and performance of Gold Fields.This role is available on a hybrid arrangement.
This role is offered on a roster comprising 5 Days On 2 Days Off Monday to Friday (8 hours - Perth), 4 Days On 3 Days Off Monday to Thursday (12 Hours - Site), 5 Days On 2 Days Off Monday to Friday (8 Hours - Perth).

Life-Friendly – Perth-based role with short, rostered site time.Stability – Excellent Life of Mine across the multiple Gold Fields assetsBe Rewarded - Private Health Insurance Allowance, Annual bonus scheme & long-term incentive planCollaborate, Inspire & Learn - Join an amazing team of technical professionals to learn, share and grow togetherLive Life - 5 weeks annual leave, 18 weeks parental leave and long service leave after 5 yearsWhat You'll Do:Undertake underground design and evaluation work, calculating ore reserves according to planning policies and legislative requirements.Handle medium- and long-term design and scheduling, including capital planning for exploration, ventilation, dewatering and backfill.Collaborate and contribute to mining technical projects at various stages of developmentDevelop strong networks with operational personnel to enable support to the departmentsCreate, develop and maintain adherence to appropriate procedures and processes to ensure consistently accurate, appropriately detailed, timely and efficient delivery of mining plans.Engage and manage external consultants for specialist technical projects.Share knowledge by mentoring our mining engineersConduct economic analysis for underground and technical projects.Who Are We Looking For?
