At OpenText, we're seeking a highly skilled Sales Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Application Delivery Management (ADM) sales team, you'll be responsible for creating, qualifying, developing, and selling ADM solutions to our clients.

The Opportunity:

You'll work closely with our pre-sales solution consultants to manage a defined territory across the ACT, spanning large and mid-sized Federal Government clients. Your software portfolio will include a combination of SaaS and on-premises solutions.

  • Value-based selling, identifying key drivers of value for the customer and developing unique value propositions.
  • Planning for success, with a structured approach to building and executing annual sales plans.
  • Orchestrating teams and working with partners, building and developing cross-company pursuit teams.
  • Good sales hygiene, with accurate revenue forecasting and up-to-date CRM systems.

What it Takes:

  • At least 5 years of proven software SaaS or license sales experience, with a demonstrable track record of over-achievement and new business wins.
  • Directly related previous work experience, with a strong network of client contacts at all levels within the Federal government.
  • University or bachelor's degree; Advanced University or MBA preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Experienced in following a sales methodology, in territory management, account development, and opportunity management.
  • Successful partner engagement experience.
