Island Shuttle Operator

This role combines driving skills with exceptional guest service, transporting guests across the island while delivering warm welcomes and helpful commentary to elevate their experience.

  • Transport guests between airport, accommodation, restaurants, and island attractions.
  • Operate scheduled shuttle loop and after-hours taxi services.
  • Deliver engaging and informative island introduction commentary.
  • Assist passengers with boarding, disembarking, and luggage.
  • Maintain vehicles in clean, safe, and operable condition at all times.
Key Responsibilities
  • Hold a minimum QLD MR licence and a clean driving record.
  • Have QLD Industry Authority or be eligible to obtain one.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Bring previous experience in bus driving.
  • Tourism, resort or tour guide experience is highly regarded.
  • Show a passion for customer service and going the extra mile.
