We are seeking an experienced and skilled Transport Driver to provide transportation services that enhance the island experience for our passengers. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of all guests and residents.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Drive shuttle loop services and after-hours taxi service, maintaining a safe and punctual schedule.
    • Deliver a friendly, informative, and timely service to all guests and residents, addressing their needs and concerns with professionalism.
    • Assist with boarding, disembarking, and luggage as needed, ensuring a smooth and seamless experience for all.
    • Deliver an island introduction commentary for all incoming guests, highlighting the island's unique features and attractions.
    • Maintain all vehicles in a clean, safe, and operable condition, adhering to strict maintenance schedules and protocols.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A minimum QLD MR licence and an impeccable driving record, demonstrating your ability to handle a variety of driving situations safely.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to effectively interact with guests, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Previous bus driving experience, preferably in a tourism or resort setting, showcasing your knowledge of passenger handling and customer service.
  • Tourism, Resort, or Tour guide experience is highly regarded, indicating your ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • You demonstrate a strong commitment towards customer service and going the extra mile, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and loyalty.
