About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Procurement Specialist to join our Bidding Energy & Resources Team in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving our bid phase procurement processes and ensuring technical excellence in delivering successful proposals within budget and timeline constraints.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Make or Buy Strategy to ensure seamless cross-coordination among various functions involved in the RFQ process.
  • Coordinate the preparation of packages to go to market, working closely with Construction, Design, estimating, and Plant & Equipment teams.
  • Assess the compliance of offers received from vendors and provide technical validation with the support of relevant departments.
  • Support the Estimating Team in deplugging selected offers, upon Procurement Team's recommendations.
  • Minimum 5+ years experience in delivering energy, resources, or similar construction projects.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Capable of hands-on management of major equipment packages.
  • Demonstrated understanding of commercial terms and conditions and ability to negotiate same.
