About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Procurement Officer to join our dynamic Procurement team at Yokogawa.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for collaborating with Procurement Specialists to streamline departmental operations, upholding procurement policies and ethical standards, and providing exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Streamline departmental operations by collaborating with Procurement Specialists.
  2. Uphold procurement policies and ethical standards with transparency.
  3. Provide customer service to all internal business stakeholders.
  4. Aid the Proposal department as needed.
  5. Manage RFQ processes according to company guidelines.
  6. Process purchase orders.
  7. Maintain Project Procurement folders and ensure consistent communication.
  8. Assist in managing procurement systems and apps.
  9. Support other departmental tasks as required.
Requirements:
  1. Up to 3 years of experience in a procurement or administration environment.
  2. Results-driven, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
  3. Experience or familiarity with SAP or ERP Systems.
  4. Strong communication (written and verbal), excellent customer service, research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  5. Tertiary qualification preferred; technical qualifications advantageous.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, effective task planning and management, deadline-oriented, goal-driven, team player or autonomous worker.
  7. Eagerness to learn and kickstart a career in Procurement.
  8. Focus on achieving challenging goals and exceeding expectations.
  9. Ensure accurate and timely information dissemination.
