Accounts Assistant Role

We are seeking a highly organized and dedicated Accounts Assistant to join our team at Penrith Rugby League. The successful candidate will have a Certificate 4 or Diploma of Accounting, or be working towards one, and possess strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Attend and support Foundation & Community events from a finance perspective;
  • Process accounts and incoming/outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures;
  • Carry out daily financial transactions;
  • Reconcile bank accounts and ledgers;
  • Prepare cash flow documentation;
  • Perform other transactional data processing tasks;

Requirements:

1-2 years of relevant experience in an accounts clerk role;Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of accounting software;Excellent written and verbal communication skills;Ability to work autonomously and in a team;
