Job Description

Job Title: Store Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Operations Manager to join our team at TenTops. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading our customer service team and driving sales growth in our store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Ensure that all customer service assistants are providing excellent customer service and meeting our high standards.
  • Store Operations: Assist the Store Manager with the day-to-day operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures, stock management, and cash handling.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate our customer service team to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and coaching to customer service assistants to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking procedures, and ensuring that stock levels are maintained at optimal levels.
  • Merchandising: Assist with merchandising procedures, including visual merchandising and ensuring that the store is presented in a visually appealing way.
  • Financial Management: Assist with financial management, including cash handling, bank deposits, and ensuring that financial targets are met.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all store operations are in compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Recent relevant work experience in a retail environment.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service skills, ability to lead and motivate a team, strong communication skills, and basic math skills.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Working Conditions:

  • Work Environment: Fast-paced retail environment.
  • Physical Demands: Frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 10kg.
