Track and Civil Engineering Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled engineer to provide technical guidance and support in railway track and civil engineering matters.

About the Role

  • Provide technical advice to our maintenance, projects, design, and asset management functions within the business.
  • Review designs for track and civil infrastructure from internal and external parties.
  • Lead investigations into root causes of incidents involving track or civil infrastructure.
  • Contribute to short and long-term renewal and maintenance plans for track and civil infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain standards, manuals, specifications, and technical notes within their discipline area.
  • Analyze Welded Track Stability annually using a WTSA Analysis system.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in an engineering or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in track, permanent way, or rail geotechnical roles, with a mix of project delivery, maintenance, design, and asset management.
