The Grants Officer will provide comprehensive support for grant applications, ensuring compliance with funding body requirements and coordinating major grant rounds.
The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills with proven ability to manage multiple deadlines across funding schemes. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities to liaison with researchers, funding bodies, and internal teams are essential.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the grants inbox, maintain a team calendar, and prepare post-award reports.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure successful grant management.
- Grants Administration Experience: Demonstrated experience in grants administration, preferably within a university central research office or faculty environment.
- Compliance Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of compliance and reporting standards in grants contexts.
- Organisational Excellence: Strong ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining quality and accuracy standards.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
