Key Energy Systems Leader

A strategic opportunity exists to direct the delivery of critical energy and gas market systems, as well as corporate and enterprise business applications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring highly available, secure, and stable IT systems and applications within agreed service level agreements for the Wholesale Electricity Market (WEM) and WA Gas Systems Information (GSI) business capabilities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring all IT systems and applications operate efficiently and effectively.
  • Driving process improvements to ensure cost-effective, efficient, and scalable delivery.
  • Assisting in driving change, promoting cross-departmental activities, and championing corporate roll-outs/programs.
  • Providing strategic advice and direction on AEMO's Technology functions covering operational matters, strategies, and efficiencies.
  • Managing the applications environment, framework, tools, and processes for the systems managed by the teams in this department.

This is a permanent full-time position based in Perth.
