Key Water Infrastructure Position

A sought-after engineer is required to lead complex water infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of interconnected systems and the ability to work across multiple significant water infrastructure projects, including pipelines, pump stations, storage reservoirs, and water & wastewater treatment infrastructure for various clients locally in North Queensland and beyond.

This role offers an unparalleled blend of technical, project management, and commercial skills from opportunities afforded by working on regional projects while part of an international consultancy.

Your Responsibilities
  • Apply your water infrastructure design expertise to meaningful local and national projects.
  • Lead project delivery from business development through design to construction, managing commercial aspects.
  • Provide technical leadership with support from multidisciplinary teams and ensure quality, timely, and budget-compliant outcomes.
  • Mentor junior staff and build strong relationships with internal and external clients across various sectors.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and registration as a Professional Engineer.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex multidisciplinary projects and meeting delivery requirements in the water infrastructure industry.
  • A future leader with an interest in succession and long-term growth within a global organisation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively at both an internal and external level, developing new client relationships and maintaining existing networks.
  • Ability to guide and mentor junior engineers and designers, contributing to the growth of our talent pipeline.
