We are seeking an experienced Strategic Learning and Development Specialist to join our Claims enablement function, reporting directly to the Capability and Enablement Manager.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality development and learning initiatives that enhance capability and support exceptional customer experiences.
You will achieve success by providing a professional learning experience, consistently using resources and materials to elevate the learning experience, while delivering consistency in both design and delivery of learning initiatives to achieve optimal outcomes and efficiencies for Claims teams.
In addition, you will maintain a process improvement lens by identifying and analysing the learning and development needs of the Claims teams to plan and implement key initiatives accordingly.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience in the claims function of an insurance business, with up-to-date knowledge of legislations and regulatory requirements in the life insurance industry.
- A passion and working knowledge of learning and development capacity.
- Collaborative approach coupled with genuine passion for learning to influence and uplift the capabilities of the Claims team.
- Some knowledge in using various knowledge management tools such as WalkMe, Articulate, Sharepoint, and/or any learning or design software to create and deliver training and guidance to day-to-day roles of a Claims Consultant.
- Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal) to create and deliver high-quality training materials for the business.

Salary: AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
