Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Engineer to join our team at Danfoss. As a key member of our sales team, you will provide technical product advice and support to internal and external customers, working closely with sales leaders and other stakeholders to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Technical Product Support: Provide expert technical product advice and support to customers, including product queries, technical issues, and warranty claims.
  2. Sales Support: Assist sales teams with execution of sales plans, including preparation of product specifications, project management, and selection of components.
  3. Product Training: Conduct product training for internal and external sales teams, customers, and partners.
  4. Engineering Advice: Provide engineering advice to consultants, mechanical contractors, system integrators, and refrigeration retailers.
  5. Marketing Support: Work with marketing to create necessary tools and literature for the Pacific market, including product bulletins, announcements, and case study material.
  6. Quality Procedures: Carry out activities in accordance with Danfoss quality procedures.
  7. Network and Communication: Liaise and maintain effective networks with Danfoss product specialists in the APR region and globally, and communicate and coordinate activities with factory or suppliers.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor or Diploma of engineering or Refrigeration trade qualifications.
  2. Experience: 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
  3. Skills: High-level knowledge of product application in cooling systems, including testing, measurement equipment, electrical and mechanical codes, refrigeration/mechanical componentry, and principles. Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), SAP, and other database systems. Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills, fluency in English, and strong communication and negotiation skills.
  4. Additional Requirements: Australian citizen or permanent resident, ability to work with international teams in a global matrix organization, and cooperative and excellent interpersonal skills.
