Job Description

As a Surveillance Trainee Operator, you will play a critical role in maintaining the security and integrity of our premises. Your primary responsibility will be to establish overall property control, safety & security while protecting assets and upholding gaming standards.

This position reports directly to the Surveillance Duty Manager and requires you to investigate and report on activities that pose a threat to operations and casino statutory obligations. You will also review CCTV footage to resolve gaming inquiries and disputes from internal and external customers.

Additionally, you will monitor alarm systems, coordinate responses via communications systems to relevant operational departments and emergency services, and maintain high job knowledge of CCTV, gaming, security, alarm systems, and other job-related systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and Report on activities that pose a threat to operations and casino statutory obligations
  • Review CCTV footage to resolve gaming inquiries and disputes from internal and external customers
  • Monitor alarm systems and coordinate responses via communications systems to relevant operational departments and emergency services
  • Maintain high job knowledge of CCTV, gaming, security, alarm systems, and other job-related systems
  • Monitor and Report critical incidents across the complex
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent keyboard typing proficiency & computer skills, well-developed written and verbal communication skills, and attention to detail with good focus & concentration ability.

Casino gaming experience is preferred but not essential. You must be available to work rotating rosters (12hr shifts), including weekends & public holidays.
