Trade Surveillance Specialist

The role of a Trade Surveillance Specialist involves overseeing the daily analysis and investigation of market activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Main Responsibilities:- To conduct deep dive investigations into suspicious market activity.
- To develop and implement surveillance solutions that meet regulatory requirements.
- To work closely with Compliance staff to determine the appropriate level of surveillance.
- To identify gaps and weaknesses in the current surveillance program.
This is an opportunity to join a global financial services group as a key member of the Risk Management team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in risk management and trade surveillance, and excellent communication skills.

Requirements- A minimum of 3 years experience in commodity and energy OTC markets.
- Familiarity with trading systems, their data structures, and interfaces.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of risk management principles and practices, as well as experience working with trading systems and data structures.
