
Construction Surveillance Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled professional to manage construction surveillance and coordinate the surveillance team.
The successful candidate will work closely with the principal, delivery partners, and D&C contractors to develop risk-based surveillance.
- Define and agree the risk-based certification approach and accompanying certification activities;
- Coordinate Independent Certifier surveillance resources;
- Attend compliance alignment sessions to reduce the risk of issues arising after construction;
- Review completions evidence from the D&C Contractor and draft specialist assistance as required;
- Ensure timely delivery of the surveillance, Independent Certifier reviews of completions quality documentation;
The role involves:
- Managing construction surveillance and coordinating the surveillance team;

The ideal candidate will have:
- Recent and close exposure to construction certification processes and activities on major infrastructure rail projects;
- A strong understanding of the legislation, standards, and processes common to major rail projects;
- A strong ability to drive outcomes across complex and highly integrated project environments;
- A qualification by a recognised tertiary or professional institution in a relevant engineering discipline, or with sufficient practical experience to demonstrate/justify equivalence to a bachelor's or Master's degree;
