Role Overview
Sales Development RepresentativeThe role of Sales Development Representative is focused on generating and qualifying leads that will build the ANZ sales pipeline. As a SDR, you will be responsible for engaging with prospects to find out about their needs, identifying high-value opportunities, and managing early sales funnel activities.
This role requires delivering value in complex situations and being energized by learning about new and existing products. You will enjoy building relationships with prospects and actively participating in the development of demand generation and sales processes.
- Moving quality leads through the funnel while connecting them to a salesperson and arranging meetings
- Developing relationships with prospects to uncover needs through effective questioning to qualify interest and viability to prepare hand-off to sales
- Updating activity and contact information within the CRM system and supporting reporting efforts
- Informing and recommending outreach strategies and best practices through testing various types of touchpoints
- Contributing to building out best practices in this area as we grow the team
- Collaborating and providing feedback and insights to support improvement of targeting and messaging

- Obsessively curious - know when to dig deeper to get to the bottom of a problem and solve it; asking the right questions necessary to arrive at a sound, risk-based decision
- Strong interest in technology and/or financial services
- A self-starter who can operate in a hyper-growth environment
