Operational Excellence Manager Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Operational Excellence Manager to drive process excellence and contribute to the optimisation of our Last Mile Delivery business.
This is an exciting new role that requires strong experience in Continuous Improvement and the ability to influence change through data-driven decision making. As a key member of our operations team, you will work collaboratively with teams to solve complex problems and develop practical solutions that improve performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor logistics and delivery success through set performance indicators.
- Drive current performance to benchmark rates by executing action plans.
- Contribute to audit initiatives and support results-driven action planning.
- Support deployment of Process Standard implementations and upgrades within the delivery station.
During peak times, you will have the responsibility for day-to-day management of a Delivery Station, providing leadership to Operations Supervisors, Operations Assistants and Delivery Service Providers.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree required, advanced Excel skills and SQL coding expertise. Minimum 3+ years of continuous improvement experience, including cross-functional collaboration with tech and non-tech teams. Additionally, define and implement process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSData analysis skills and familiarity with supporting tools such as Minitab, JMP, Asana. Data visualisation tools (PowerBI, Quicksight or equivalent).
