About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Claims and Compensation Specialist to join our team at Troocoo. This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday in office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Register new workers' compensation claims into our management system and investigate their validity.
  • Determine liability for claims, calculate entitlements, and authorise and process compensation.
  • Develop outcome-focused case management and return-to-work plans to assist injured employees in their successful recovery and return to work.
  • Provide timely and accurate guidance and advice on workers' compensation matters.
  • Coordinate and attend regular claims reviews with relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in self-insurance or Workcover QLD claims management.
  • Strong knowledge of Workers' Compensation laws and regulations.
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Motivated, self-starting individual with strong time management skills.

  • A competitive salary range of $95,000 - $98,000 plus superannuation.
