Mechanical Supervisor - Power Generation Maintenance

This role is part of a high-performing team focused on safe and efficient production in the region. You will join the NPI team as the Mechanical Supervisor, overseeing the maintenance of power generation systems, predominantly diesel generators, across the region.

The Role Overview
  • You will be responsible for supervising mechanical maintenance of power generation systems, primarily diesel generators.
  • Lead and manage a small team of trades and subcontractors to ensure scheduled and reactive maintenance is completed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Supervise and coordinate mechanical maintenance activities to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  2. Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
  3. Manage and lead a team of trades and subcontractors to execute planned and reactive maintenance.
  4. Coordinate with other site and NPI team members to ensure smooth operations and achieve business objectives.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter or HD Fitter with extensive experience maintaining diesel generator sets.
  • Proven ability to work safely in operational environments and supervise teams effectively.
  • Strong hands-on experience executing maintenance schedules, troubleshooting, and repairs.
